Professor Uma Dhupelia-Mesthrie
Uma Dhupelia-Mesthrie is an author and emeritus professor in the History Department at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). She has written numerous articles on forced removals and land restitution in Cape Town and has also written extensively on the history of Indians in Cape Town locating these within broader histories of bureaucratic paperwork.

Dr Nanda Soobben
Dr Soobben is an internationally acclaimed cartoonist who has been plying his trade for the past twenty five years. His socio-political statements, cartoons and illustrations have been printed in newspapers such as The Post Newspaper, The Independent on Saturday, The Daily News & the Sunday Tribune. His cartoons are also syndicated to major international newspapers.
