You are invited to join the Corporate Relations Team as we create awareness of the UKZN Corporate Brand. This is a set of guidelines on how to portray and describe our institution effectively by consistent use of all the design elements (particularly our logo) on all the different media including our website, business cards, email signatures and social media platforms, etc.

A corporate identity gives a sense of culture or personality to an organisation. A strong and consistent corporate identity can improve awareness and increase our competitive edge. The University Corporate Identity Manual incorporates basic usage guidelines to ensure that UKZN brand is visually presented in a consistent and impactful manner.

It is vital that staff understand and use these guidelines to ensure that our corporate image and identity is used correctly, clearly, consistently and effectively. Consistency in the use of University trademarks strengthens our value and ability to protect our brand and elements from unauthorised use. By maintaining a consistent and professional corporate identity, the identity of UKZN becomes more easily recognisable, and our important messages also become easily received and understood.
