Intercampus Shuttle Timetable

The University Community is advised that the intercampus shuttle pickup and dropoff point is back to GATE 8 HOWARD COLLEGE CAMPUS.

INTERCAMPUS SHUTTLE TIMETABLE FOR THE SECOND SEMESTER 2026

Dear Staff and Students

The UKZN intercampus shuttle service between the Howard College and Westville campuses resumes on Monday, 20 July 2026. The shuttle operates during term time on weekdays, excluding public holidays and weekends, from 07h00 until 21h00 as per the attached timetable.

The intercampus shuttle provides service to UKZN-registered students and staff who commute between the Howard College and Westville Campuses for university-academic-related activities. The route permit awarded to the service provider only allows them to pick up and drop off at Howard College campus, GATE 8, and on the Westville campus at Joosub Hall (Main Hall) and the Makhabane bus stop. Commuters using this service must present their student or staff card. Should anyone be unable to produce the card, they will not be allowed to board the bus.

We urge commuters to arrive at the bus stop on time, board the bus in an orderly manner, observe all necessary protocols, and refrain from disruptive behaviour to avoid contravening traffic laws and posing a security risk to staff, students, and the service provider.
