Students engaging with employers about their
future prospects.

Creating an environment where students are informed about career and education options thus exposing them to all aspects of recruitment which is crucial for future career choices was the aim of the Annual Employer Exhibition attended by more than 4 500 students at UKZN’s Westville campus recently.

The event which was organised by the College of Law and Management Studies in partnership with the College of Health Sciences saw over 73 of the country’s top employers engaging with students on full-time job opportunities, vacation employment, training contracts, learnerships, international work-placement and bursary opportunities.

Exhibitors included the eThekwini Municipality, Clicks pharmacy, Unilever, Netcare and KPMG to mention a few.

At the event students seized the opportunity to engage with the exhibitors by enquiring about graduate programmes on offer and the necessary requirements for their chosen career paths. Recruiters also utilised the platform to gauge all rounded and high caliber students from UKZN whose employment would be beneficial to their companies.
