“Entrepreneurship and development: using a holistic approach to entrepreneurship education and training” was the title of a public lecture delivered by Professor Jay Mitra who is the professor of Business Enterprise and Innovation and Director of the International Centre for Entrepreneurship Research at Essex Business School, University of Essex, United Kingdom.
The talk which took place at the Graduate School of Business and Leadership (GSB&L) recently explored the role of higher education in grooming graduates that will contribute towards social sustainability and economic security.
Mitra highlighted that research needs to be the foundation for curriculum development, knowledge creation and human capital development to reduce poverty.
