THE CENTRE FOR JAZZ & POPULAR MUSIC (UKZN) is proud to present, Nduduzo Makhathini, on Wednesday, 11 April 2012 at 18:00

Originally from KZN South Africa this talented pianist is now based in Johannesburg.  Nduduzo Makhathini  is a trendsetter and musical influencer of Jazz and soul music genres in South Africa. Nduduzo completed his Diploma in Jazz Piano in 2005. While pursuing his studies, his tone and voicings earned him a lot of attention and gigs with the Late Andille Mseleku, Brian Thusi, and Philani Ngidi. 

His highlights include working with Feya Faku and Carlo Mombelli, songbirds: Simphiwe Dana, Zama Jobe, Thandiswa Mazwa  among others, i . In 2008, he toured in Europe with the late great Zim Ngqawana.

Nduduzo will be joined by Herbie Tsoela on bass, Ayanda Sikade on drums, and Nina Mkhize on vocals.
