The University of KwaZulu-Natal cordially invites you to a webinar titled: DRUG AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION.

The aim of this webinar is to provide effective interventions and strategies to address drug and substance abuse at UKZN. We invite all relevant stakeholders to form partnership in advocating for zero tolerance against drug and substance abuse at the University.

FACILITATOR:
Dr Rosh Subrayen, is a social worker employed at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Student Services Division.

PRESENTERS:

  1. Mr Sandile Fortune Mnyandu, Executive member of Creative Network which is a collaboration of UKZN and MUT that publishes stories for High School students.

  2. Ms Nonkululeko Mkhize, is a social worker employed at SANCA, Durban.

  3. Mr Sthembiso Mdlanzi is a Senior Information Officer employed at SANCA.

    Topic: Substance Abuse Sensitization

  4. Dr Varoshini Nadesan, is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. She is a seasoned social worker and court probation officer, with 20 years field practice and statutory experience at the level of Chief Social Worker.

    Topic: Alcohol Abuse in Higher Education
