The first of the 2013 series of shows directed by post-graduates in Drama and Performance Studies is taking place next week.

Stop at Green, Go at Red is a minimalist, three-women show in which the performers embrace different female characters in various stages of their lives. This is done through comedy, narration, poetry and physicality. This energetic play will appeal to audiences of all ages who are thirsty for some zesty South African humour, as taboo topics are brought out in the open to be laughed at. The actresses slip in and out of various roles in order to bring out the play’s message of female empowerment.

The show is directed by Sasha Roopen.
