The Centre for Jazz and Popular is proud to present Musa Manzini on Wednesday, 29 May 2013 at 18:00.

Musa Manzini is distinguished by his use of the bass as a lead instrument.  Traditionally bass is a backing instrument in the jazz domain.  His use of the bass as a solo instrument has propelled him to greater heights and admiration by South African, international peers, music enthusiasts, and broadcasters.

Musa’s compositions range from traditional jazz, to fusion of African jazz, funk and smooth jazz.
