This mini-symposium aims to bring together postdoctoral fellows from various disciplines, as well as other interested researchers at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, to participate in an interdisciplinary discussion on HIV and AIDS. Interdisciplinary conversations and collaborations across medical, social, economic, cultural and gendered understandings of this epidemic strengthen research and strategies for prevention and treatment.
The symposium also aims to encourage collaborations and networks between postdocs at the University.
