Launch of the KZN Forest Conservation Network and Lecture by Professor Eugene Moll on Hawaan Forest – past, present and future.

You are cordially invited to the launch of the KwaZulu-Natal Forest Conservation Network on Wednesday 3 September 2014. The launch will be marked by a lecture entitled ”Hawaan Forest – past, present and future”, to be given by Professor Eugene Moll, a world renowned plant ecologist. 

The launch and lecture, which are kindly supported by the School of Life and Sciences UKZN and Tongaat Hulett, will be run in partnership between community members, academics and students and individuals concerned with forests such as Hawaan, Umdloti and Umdoni to disseminate conservation-related knowledge.  

The evening will commence with a lecture at 18h00, with ample time being given for Q&A and discussion during the formal proceedings and refreshments will be served after the lecture.
