SA’s premier comedy and jazz series “Jokes & Jazz IV” is back for its 2017 finalè at UKZN Centre for Jazz and Popular Music on October 3rd at 18:00.

Hosted by renowned MC & comedian Troy Tesla, the 90min outtake exploded this year to become one of the best rated and best attended entertainment experiences in Durban.

Fresh from his Johannesburg & Cape Town tours with acts like John Vlismas & Rob Van Vuuren, Tesla will anchor a fresh lineup loaded with the best of the city’s new comedians & musicians.


Leah Jasmine – queen of woke comedy & recent finalist at the Kill or Die Comedy Competition.

Daryl Williams – one of the most sought after of Durban’s rising stars. This family friendly act has toured Swaziland, Mozimbique and notable for side splitting solo performances on the Sinfonia cruise ship!

Also featuring Shannon Rice, Maxamilion & newcomer Nabeer Peel.

Zah Nkwenkwezi – a bilingual poet and pioneer of the Durban poetry industry. She recently made a special appearance on UKhozi Fm.

“Jokes & Jazz IV” goes LIVE on 3rd of October at UKZN Centre for Jazz and Popular Music, Howard College. The venue is also home to weekly jazz concerts every Wednesday.

General tickets will be on sale at the door at R70, R45 for Pensioners and R20 for students for all shows. Doors Open 5:30pm and Show Starts: 6pm
