Catch HABIT TO on their National Tour in promotion of their latest Release: Boomerang Saturn. HABIT TO are putting Durban on the map with shows around the country from Pretoria, Jo’burg and little dorpies like Vereeniging & Potchefstroom through to East London, PE and ending off with a bang in Cape Town.

The recipe cooks up mouth watering vocals and guitar solo’s from Michelle “Chillie” Stent the leading lady. Dale “Dang” Wardell exists as the backbone and chief of the kit, delivering the beats for an army to march to. Not forgetting the foundation laid down by Andy Stent who uses his bass to bring the trio down to earth and then dishes up the full course meal of musical madness.

Having studied music at tertiary level, Chillie and Dang synchronise a thought process that digs deeper than the basics of song writing. These ideals are further reinforced, and the music visually complimented, by projected video images displayed during the band’s live performances. This is owed to Andy’s qualifications in Fine art and Animation. With the help of Richard “Dickie-B” Burgess who works behind the scenes, HABIT TO encapsulates an audio visual experience.

Formed in 2003, HABIT TO has built up a strong following not only in Durban but around the country, winning over new fans with every gig. The band has also performed at most major festivals and shared stages with the likes of Prime Circle, The Parlotones, Goldfish, The Arrows and many many more.

In 2006 they won the Durban Battle of the Bands, which awarded them the studio time and funding they needed to produce their debut album, ‘Secrets to a Triangle’. This acheivement also gained them huge popularity and opened up many opportunities.

The single ‘Cast in Stone’ received extensive radio airplay, while the music video for ‘Gratitude’ was put into rotation on Go TV, MK and MTV Base!

Following on the success of the previous album, HABIT TO spent the past year writing and recording. And right now the band looks forward to a great National Tour, where they’ll be unleashing their brand new album ‘Boomerang Saturn’ !

You can expect even more from the video for the albums first single ‘R10.40’, which will be hitting your TV screens very soon!
