This seminar will examine how the intersection of love and power can lead to the betterment of our world. I explore how they interact in the context of creating an effective youth empowerment program for grade ten students at Baleni Secondary School in Pondoland. Using Action Research I explore how Asset-Based Community Development, Integral Theory and the Power Cube can be used in the program design to bring love and power together in an attempt at positive change. This seminar will share my mental, spiritual and academic quest to understand the role of love and power in creating positive and meaningful social change.
