SANTHE (Sub-Saharan African Network for TB/HIV Research Excellence)
is hosting a Bioinformatics Course from 26 February to 2 March and
Course Instructor – January Weiner, a bioinformatician working at the
Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology in Berlin, in the Immunology
Department of Stefan Kaufmann – will be giving an open talk to anyone
interested in attending.

is a biologist by training, with PhD on bacterial transcriptomics and
habilitation in evolutionary biology. He currently works on functional
analysis of high throughput data, in especially in the context of
multivariate biomarkers in infectious diseases and vaccine development.
