In an endeavour to promote agriculture, engineering and science as possible career choices, the College of Agriculture, Engineering and Science presents trophies annually to top achieving students in mathematics and science at feeder schools in KwaZulu-Natal. A boisterous Franco Erasmus of Grade 11 at Weston Agricultural College was recently awarded the UKZN prize for his outstanding performance in mathematics and science during the 2015 academic year.  The College hopes to encourage further young, energetic and enthusiastic pupils to follow careers in scientific fields.
